Miroslav Ambroš 31.07.2026. in Rovigno

Miroslav Ambroš, a violinist, graduated from the Prague Conservatory, the Prague Academy of Music and HMT Hannover. He has participated in masterclasses with Pinchas Zukerman, Ruggiero Ricci and Gyorgy Pauk. In parallel, he studied privately for several years with the legendary violinist Josef Suk. He has won numerous national and international interpreting competitions and has also been awarded scholarships. He debuted as Josef Suk’s “partner” at the Prague Spring Festival and recorded a CD with him. He has performed as a soloist with numerous internationally renowned orchestral orchestras and conductors, including Jiri Belohlavek, Eli Jaffe and others. He has given concerts and participated in festivals in most European countries, as well as in South Korea, Canada and the United States. In 2017 he founded the chamber orchestra “Ambroš Ladies Orchestra”, of which he is the first violin and soloist. In October 2018, they performed in concert at the Garnier Hall of the Opera in Monte Carlo, Monaco, in the presence of Albert II, Prince of Monaco. Ambroš is the winner of the gold medal at the 2020 Vienna International Interpretation Competition and the 2022 International Music Competition in New York. This year, he again won the third among 300 participants in New York and Vienna.
