Alessandro Cesaro, nurtured his passion for music with a strong interest in composition. He studied piano with Franco Angeleri, graduating at the age of 16 with the highest marks, commendation and special recognition. After graduating, he continued his studies for further study with Paolo Badura-Skoda and Aldo Ciccolini in Rome. He soon won prizes in major national and international competitions such as the City of Venice Prize and the Yamaha Prize in Stresa, but he established himself in particular at the 48th Geneva International Competition, where he received the first prize at the age of 18. He has given numerous recitals in Italy and has hosted in Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Argentina and Mexico. He has collaborated with many orchestras and conductors such as Cl. Scimone, A.. Nanut, P. Ignacio Calderon, H. Kaiser, B. Scarpis. One of his special features is his versatility, which allows him to include in his repertoire the most famous piano composers from Haydn to Chopin, Schubert and Beethoven on authentic pianos commissioned by the summer festival of Euganeo. He has recorded many of these live for Rivo Alto and Azzura Music. In addition to the interpretations, he is also involved in the composition, and his music is published by the publishing house “Edizioni Armenin Musica”.
